Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment for 2027 benefits is October 15–29, 2026.

This is your annual opportunity to enroll in or make changes to these benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
  • Supplemental life insurance
  • Supplemental accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
  • Accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance

You must log in to UKG Dimensions and complete your benefit elections for 2027 during Open Enrollment, October 15–29, 2026. If you do not submit your elections by October 29, you may lose or experience a delay in benefit coverage. FSA elections do not carry over from year to year, so you must actively elect an FSA if you want one in 2027.

How to Enroll

When you’re ready to enroll or make changes, visit UKG Dimensions and access the My Benefits tab.

Documentation for Dependents

If you’re enrolling dependents, you may need to provide this documentation:

  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth or adoption certificate

If you’re enrolling in or increasing supplemental life and AD&D insurance coverage for yourself or dependents, you may need to provide Evidence of Insurability.

Additional Step for Recent New Hires

If you’re hired during Open Enrollment, you’ll need to enroll twice: first for the current plan year, then again for 2027.

Contribution Limits

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

In 2027, you can contribute up to:

  • Health Care or Limited Purpose FSA – $3,400 ($680 rollover limit to the next year)
  • Dependent Care FSA – $7,500

The 2027 Health Care FSA contribution and rollover limits are pending IRS announcement. AVMC will update these amounts once the IRS releases the 2027 limits.

No change to EPO employee deduction rates

EPO employee contributions will remain at 2026 levels for 2027.

2027 Medical Plan Changes
  • PPO: Tier 2 and Tier 3 deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums are increasing for 2027.
  • EPO: For facility-based services available at AVMC, members must use an AVMC facility to receive Tier 1 benefits. Eligible AVMC facility charges for outpatient surgery and inpatient hospitalization have $0 member cost share. Professional services remain Tier 2.
  • EPO and PPO members will continue to enjoy lower out-of-pocket costs for eligible prescriptions filled at AVOP Pharmacy.

Ready to enroll?Z

Before you enroll, see what’s new and changing for the next plan year. There may be changes that are important to you.

You must log in to UKG Dimensions and submit your benefit elections for 2027 by the deadline above. If you do not submit elections, you may lose or experience a delay in benefit coverage. FSA elections do not carry over from year to year, so you must elect an FSA if you want one in 2027.
